United States swimmer Caeleb Dressel is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
Dressel dominated the swimming events in Tokyo as he won gold medals in the men’s 1oo meter butterfly, 100 meter freestyle, the 4×100 meter freestyle relay, the 4×100 medley relay, and the 50 meter freestyle.
He set two world records and also set Olympic records while leading the US swimming team.
Dressel became the third American male swimmer to win three individual gold medals in a single Summer games.
The 24-year-0ld has been impressive in Tokyo, and he is poised to take the torch from Michael Phelps to become the new face of US swimming.
