Donald Fagen says it has been “weird” performing the death of Steely Dan bandmate Walter Becker.
Becker died after a long battle with cancer in 2017, and Fagen has been keeping the performance afloat alone since. He sued Becker’s estate for the rights to the band’s royalties shortly after Becker’s passing.
According to Fagen, “There are probably thousands of lawyers fighting about that right now, as we speak.”
