The Game Before the Money seeks to preserve the life and career stories of former pro and college football players, in their own words. The foundation not only seeks to document the individual experiences of the players but to also gain insight into how their personal stories intersect with America’s cultural and socioeconomic history. The foundation also highly values collecting memories surrounding great moments in pro and college football history, as well as stories about important figures in NFL, AFL, AAFC, NCAA, and HBCU football history.
