Rapper Cardi B was named as the host of the 2021 American Music Awards, which are set to take place Nov. 21 at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles.
She has won five AMA’s in her career and is nominated for three this year, including favorite female hip-hop artist.
This is the fifth consecutive year that a black female star has hosted the AMA’s.
