Streaming service HBO Max is developing a series about one of the first black millionaires in history, with Don Cheadle and Steven Soderbergh overseeing as executive producers.
Currently titled “The Other Hamiliton,” it tells the true story of Jeremiah Hamilton, who has a rags-to-riches story of being a Haitian immigrant turned millionaire using sometimes questionable methods.
