Ronettes Lead Singer Ronnie Spector Dies at 78

Ronnie Spector, the lead singer of 1960s girl group The Ronettes, died yesterday at the age of 78.

She formed the Ronettes in 1961 with her older sister and a cousin while she was a teenager, and together with producer Phil Spector, they had such hits like “Be My Baby.”
