Bassist Krist Novoselic (Nirvana), drummer Matt Cameron (Pearl Jam, Soundgarden) and guitarist Kim Thayil (Soundgarden) have formed a supergroup called 3rd Secret. Additionally, they’ve already released a self-titled debut album.
The new group and the album come as a surprise. After releasing albums with his band Giants In The Trees in 2017 and 2019, Novoselic has kept a fairly low profile. However, he did write in a now-deleted tweet in February that he was trying to finish an album.
