Then: Collins quit school at fourteen to become a full time pupil at an art school. After a falling out with a director, Collins decided to quit acting to pursue music. In 1969, Collins and Caryl joined John Walker’s backing band for a European tour, and stayed together following the tour, becoming the group Flaming Youth, who signed to Fortana Records.
Now: In May 2015, Collins signed a deal with Warner Music Group to have his solo albums remastered and reissued with previously unreleased material. He also decided to come out of retirement and in 2021, he reformed with his band Genesis for a farewell tour.
