Atlanta Braves catcher Sean Murphy is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The All-Star catcher led the white hot Braves to another great week, finishing off a sweep of the Marlins, and taking two out of three from the Guardians and Rays. In those games, Murphy had a batting average of .467, slugging three homers and driving in seven runs.
Behind a strong surge from Murphy, the Braves entered the All-Star break with the best record in the Majors, becoming the first team to reach 60 wins on the season.
