Braves third baseman Austin Riley is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
Riley showed a return to his All-Star form this week, hitting .400 with six homers over six games. In that stretch, Riley made franchise history, homering in five straight games, which ties the Braves record. He also drove in 16 runs over that stretch, which is the most over a five-game stretch by a Brave since RBI’s became an official stat in 1920.
The Braves extended their lead in the NL East over that stretch as well, as they now lead the division by 11.5 games over the Phillies and Marlins.
