Auburn Women’s Golfer Megan Schofill is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The 5th-year Tiger won the US Women’s Amateur, edging out LSU’s Latana Stone on the final day and becoming the first Auburn player ever to win the tournament. “It’s definitely a dream come true, but I’d be lying if I wouldn’t say I’m still in shock,” Schofill said after the victory. “I feel like it still hasn’t set in yet.”
With the win, Scofill has qualified for the 2024 Women’s Open, as well as several majors on the LPGA Tour.
