Seattle Mariners centerfielder Julio Rodriguez is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The 22-year-old phenom had a record setting week for Seattle, as over a four-game stretch last week, he had 17 hits and had four straight four-hit games. Those marks are the most for a player over a four game stretch since 1900. Overall, he registered a .568 batting average with two homers and 13 RBI’s.
Behind a strong push from players like Rodriguez, the Mariners are 70-55 on the year, only two games back for the lead in the NL West.
