Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The Pac-12 superstar put up huge numbers in Washington’s heavyweight fight against the Oregon Ducks on Saturday, leading the Huskies to a 36-33 win.
In the game, Penix completed 22 of his 37 pass attempts for 302 yards and four touchdowns, with the game winning score coming with under two minutes left in the game.
With the win, Washington moved to 6-0 on the season, in prime position for a playoff spot, while Penix became the front runner for this year’s Heisman trophy.
