Auburn quarterback Payton Thorne is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
Thorne led Auburn to a much needed conference win on Saturday, taking down the Mississippi State Bulldogs 27-13 for their first SEC win of the year.
In the game, Thorne completed 20 of his 26 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns. The touchdowns are the most by an Auburn quarterback since 2020, and the completion percentage of 77% was the highest of his career.
