Auburn running back Jarquez Hunter is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The junior tailback registered a career high in rushing yards on Saturday against Vanderbilt, carrying the ball 19 times for 183 yards, with two touchdowns in the first quarter that came on runs of 67 and 56 yards.
Behind Hunter’s performance, Auburn won 31-15 in Nashville to claim their first away win over Vanderbilt since 2001, and claim their second SEC victory on the season.
Hunter has overcome a slow start to the season to rush for over 400 yards and four touchdowns in the last three games, and put Auburn in prime position to make a bowl game.
