LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The Heisman hopeful added to his resumé in a big game against Florida on Saturday, as he completed 17 of his 26 pass attempts for 372 yards and three touchdowns, while running 12 times for 234 yards and two more scores in LSU’s 52-35 win over Florida.
The 600-yard, five touchdowns performance marked college football history, as Daniels became the first ever player in FBS to throw for at least 350 yards and rush for at least 200 yards in the same game. He also became the first player in FBS history to throw for over 12,000 yards and rush for 3,000 yards in the same season.
