Auburn forward Johni Broome is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The Tigers’ biggest post presence made himself known last week as the Tigers went 2-0 winning by margins of 20 and 32.
On Tuesday against Penn, Broome scored 24 points, making 90% of his field goals including going three-for-four from the three-point line, and grabbed 12 boards as the Tigers cruised to an 88-68 victory over the Quakers.
Then, in the Tiger’s conference opener, Broome scored 14 points, all in the second half, and grabbed eight rebounds as the Tigers beat Arkansas 83-51 in Fayetteville, with the 32-point difference being the largest loss by the home team in the history of Bud Walton Arena.
