How To Watch: Netflix

“Leave the World Behind” is a movie that creates a ton of confusion and mystery throughout the movie. It is based on the present but very futuristic in some cases. When watching the movie I developed my own thoughts and could honestly see these things
happening in this life. If you’re a conspiracy theorist then this is a movie for you.

The acting was phenomenal. They had characters who were terrified, confused,
angry, and even ones who didn’t seem to care at all. They even put in a small amount of
romance between two unlikely characters in the middle of the disaster.

Julia Roberts plays a stressed out mom who decides her family needs a vacation.
The vacation is outside of New York City and around a beachy area. After a crazy day at
the beach she and her family go back to the house they rented. That night they meet some
strangers at their doorstep and that’s when it gets more wild.

With how our world is turning so digital and relying on technology the attack in
this movie really makes you think. Not only can your phone be the thing that allows
danger to get close to you but so can the vehicles you drive now, such as Teslas. When
watching it, I just kept thinking, “This is so real.”

Now I will discuss the worst part. The ending is one of the worst endings in movie
history. There could have been another 30 minutes left and it still may have not answered
all your questions, but I think that was the point. Even with the ending I believe the
movie is worth the watch.
