NC State forward DJ Burns is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The senior big man kept up the Wolfpack’s win streak in elimination games, as they took down Marquette and Duke to advance to the Final Four.
In a defensive struggle in the Sweet 16, Burns scored four points, dished out seven assists, and grabbed four rebounds as NC State won 67-58.
Against Duke in the Elite 8, Burns scored 29 points in 29 minutes, also pulling down four rebounds, adding three assists, and contributing defensively by adding two blocks as NC State won 76-64 to advance to the Final Four.
