Pro golfer Bryson DeChambeau is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The SMU alum won his second career major over the weekend, as he took first place in the US Open. In a shot-by-shot battle with Rory McIlroy, DeChambeau came out ahead by just one stroke.
At the 18th hole, McIlroy put a shot close, but failed to make the three-foot putt to take a one-shot lead. On the same hole, DeChambeau played a bunker shot from 55 yards out, landing the ball four feet from the hole. He made the putt, giving him a win by one stroke, and securing his second US Open title.
