Auburn running back Jarquez Hunter is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The senior star had the best game of his career on Saturday as the Tigers grabbed a much-needed win over the Kentucky Wildcats.
Hunter carried the ball 23 times for 278 total yards, the fourth-highest single game total in school history. He scored two touchdowns on the day as well to give Auburn a 24-10 win and their first victory of the year in the SEC.
After the game, Hunter said his great game was owed to the fact that he was “tired of losing” and he wanted to put the game on his back to make sure the Tigers came away with the win.
