Auburn center Johni Broome is once again SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
In Auburn’s matchup against Ohio State in the Holiday Hoopsgiving event in Atlanta, Broome was once again dominant.
In just 26 minutes, Broome posted 21 points, 20 rebounds, 6 assists, and three blocks, all without committing a turnover. The rest of the Auburn squad followed in a dominant performance, taking down Ohio State 91-53.
It was the first 20-20 game of Broome’s illustrious career, and was the first player in the last 25 years of Division 1 college basketball to record 20+ points, 20+ rebounds, and 5+ assists while committing 0 turnovers in a single game.
