Auburn shortstop Nelia Peralta is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The senior got her final season on the plains off to a hot start, leading the Tigers to a 5-0 weekend in the Tiger Invitational to begin the 2025 season.
Playing five games in three days against Southern Illinois, App State, and North Carolina, Peralta logged 11 hits in 18 at-bats, including three home runs and 10 RBIs.
The highlight of the weekend came in the Saturday double-header, when Peralta hit all three of her homers, including a walk-off two run shot in the bottom of the ninth inning to complete a 10-9 comeback win against App State.
For her complete weekend, Peralta was named Conference Player of the Week by the SEC.
