Aubie, Auburn’s beloved tiger mascot, is a 10-time national champion and Hall of Famer, but he wasn’t always as well-known to the masses.
With a variety of mascots already making their presence known, Aubie had to think of creative and mischievous ways to get the attention of others, and that started during an Iron Bowl weekend in 1979.
