Braves first baseman Matt Olson is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The All-Star hopeful added to his case with a big week, posting a .320 batting average and slugging five homers over six games. During this stretch, Olson hit his 25th home run of the year, moving him into a tie for most in Major League Baseball. He also sits in second for RBI’s with 60.
The Braves swept the Rockies and Phillies, and took two out of three from a strong Cincinnati Reds team to go 5-1 over the week, and currently lead the NL East by six games over the second place Marlins.
