This week’s SportsCall Player of the Week is Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady!
Brady had a milestone day in the Buccaneers 38-31 comeback victory against the Los Angeles Chargers, as he tied Peyton Manning for the second most most 300-yard passing games in NFL history.
His 369 passing yards Sunday were the second most by a quarterback over the age of 40, and he became the oldest quarterback to throw for five touchdowns in a game.
This was Brady’s first 17-point comeback since Super Bowl 51 against the Atlanta Falcons and broke a streak of 42 consecutive games where Tampa Bay had lost when trailing by 17 or more points.
The Bucs will look to continue to build off that momentum when they travel to Chicago to face the Bears.
