Auburn center Johni Broome is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The Auburn star contributed to his Player of the Year campaign this past week, adding two more doubles-doubles in two more SEC wins.
On Tuesday against LSU, Broome bullied his way to 26 points and 16 rebounds. Broome also added three blocks and a steal, leading Auburn to an 87-74 win in Baton Rouge.
In the Saturday matchup against Ole Miss, Broome scored 20, grabbed 12 rebounds, and dished out four assists. Broome added two blocks on the defensive end, and led a dominant Auburn offensive performance, winning 92-82..
For his efforts, Broome was named SEC Player of the Week once again, and has kept the Tigers undefeated in conference play.
