Auburn quarterback Bo Nix is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
Nix led the Auburn the Tigers to a 24-19 victory Saturday, their first victory in Baton Rouge since 1999.
Nix ended the night going 23-44 for 255 yards and a touchdown. He also put his legs to work, rushing 12 times for 74 yards and another score.
“I came in this week with a different mindset,” Nix said after the game. “I just wanted to be a competitor and went back to my foundation of what kind of got me here. It seemed to pay off throughout the week. Tonight, I didn’t really know how it was going to go, but I knew I wanted to come in here focused and compete like crazy and do whatever it took to win the game.”
Auburn plays Georgia this Saturday, October 9th in Jordan-Hare Stadium at 2:30 PM. Listen on FM Talk 93.9.
