Legendary entertainer Dolly Parton has been honored as a recipient of this year’s people of the year award that’s annually presented by People magazine.
Parton has expanded her already impressive business empire to include a perfume, production deal with Netflix, a book deal.
She also has been involved in philanthropic work with Vanderbilt University and the Middle Tennessee area.
Other recipients for this year are Sandra Oh and Simone Biles.
