Auburn center Walker Kessler is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The dominant big man posted an incredible performance against top-10 and then undefeated LSU last Wednesday, tallying 16 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 blocks. That stat line was good for just the second triple-double in school history.
Kessler currently leads the country in block percentage at 20.72%, meaning he blocks almost 21% of all opponents two-point field goal attempts when he’s on the floor.
Kessler said after the game, “I think that we have, if not the best defense in the country, one of the most elite ones. I think we showed that tonight.”
