Release Date: May 14th, 1982
Number of Songs: 12
Album Notes: The album was met with critical acclaim, debuting at number 2 on the UK charts, appearing in the top 10 in most countries. This was the band’s 5th studio album, and came at a time where the band was frustrated with their sound, which they thought had become boring. As a result, they brought back their old manager. The experiment worked, and brought the band to a new, unique post-punk style that offered commentary on the state of America. The album turns 40 this year, and is the band’s best-selling album to date.
