2000 – The Beatles began an 11-week stay in top of the UK album chart with ‘The Beatles 1’, a
greatest hit album that feature almost every single from the band that reached the No. 1 spot
from 1962-1970.

1988 – Robin Beck was at No. 1 on the UK singles chart with “First Time”. The song from the
one-hit-wonder was originally part of an advertisement for Coca-Cola.

1964 – The Supremes became the first all-girl group to have a UK No. 1 single when “Baby Love”
reached the top of the chart.
