to have eight songs in the top 40 of the singles chart after the release of his album ‘Purpose’.

1991 – The Rolling Stones announced they’d signed a deal with Virgin Records to record three
albums over six years.

1984 – A large crowd of fans watched as Michael Jackson was unveiled as the most recent
addition to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Jackson’s star was the 1,793 rd on the famed walk.
