2003 – Figures released by The Rolling Stones showed that the band had made over $1 billion
from 1989-2002 from royalties, album sales, and tour revenue.

1982 – Lionel Richie was at No. 1 on the US singles chart with “Truly”. Richie had a song reach
No. 1 each year from 1978-1986 as a writer.

1976 – ’20 Golden Greats’ by Glen Campbell began a six-week-run at No. 1 on the UK album
chart. Campbell released more than 70 albums during his career.
