Takeaways:

The Atlanta Falcons are officially eliminated from the 2022 playoff race. This game against the Ravens was tough even without Lamar Jackson due to their run game and extremely stout defense. On the bright side, Desmond Ridder played well in his second start under center. He was accurate in his throws, completing over 65% of his passes and made smart decisions against a tough defense. The Falcons started moving the ball well down the field and got to the Ravens one yard line twice; but bad officiating calls forced the Falcons to settle for field goals on both opportunities and really changed the swing of the game. Next week the Falcons head home to face an extremely depleted Cardinals team on both sides of the ball, giving Ridder another opportunity to show his skills and prove he’s the future of the franchise.
