Auburn sprinter Kanyinsola Ajayi is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The freshman superstar continued his stellar season at the NCAA national championship meets over the weekend, helping Auburn to lift more trophies at the end of this athletic year.
Ajayi, the SEC Freshman sprinter of the year and All-SEC first teamer, came in third in the Men’s 100 meters. After, he was a part of the 4×100 meter relay that saw Auburn win the national title in the event. Overall, Auburn finished 2nd overall in the country, bringing home the silver medal.
For his efforts on the season, Ajayi was named an All-American in his first year on The Plains.
