Pro golfer Davis Thompson is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The Lee County native and former Georgia Bulldog won the John Deere Classic over the weekend, logging his first win in a PGA Tour event.
For the tournament, Thompson shot 28-under par, a tournament record that gave him the win by four strokes.
With the win, Thompson has secured his spot in the next three majors, including the upcoming British Open.
