JJ Jackson will be joining the SportsCall crew once again as an on air personality. He will be featured on the show throughout the week.
Announced on last Friday’s show, June 6th, that JJ Jackson would be making his return to SportsCall Auburn. Jackson had previously served as the host of the program from November of 2017 all the way through to the end of 2022 before handing off the reigns to current host Ryan Lavoie.
Under his direction, SportsCall won it’s first Abby Award for best small market sports show in 2021 from the Alabama Broadcasters Association. Jackson’s overall impact on the show was seen greatly through his determination to grow SportsCall.
Since being away, Jackson has continued make a mark on the sports media landscape. You can find his work as a SEC Network Plus broadcaster and the host of Locked On Blue Devils for the Locked On Podcast Network.
