Mavericks guard Luka Dončić is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The Slovenian super star is carrying the Mavericks as they make their way through the Western Conference playoffs. For the series against the Timberwolves, Dončić is averaging 31.5 points, 9 assists, and 9.5 rebounds, as Dallas currently holds a 3-1 lead, heading back to Dallas for game 5.
Every game has been close, but the moment of the series so far came in game 2, when Luka hit a step back three over Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert with three seconds left to give the Mavs a 109-108 win and take a stranglehold on the series.
With one more win, Dončić and the Mavs will be through to the NBA Finals.
