PGA Tour golfer Phil Mickelson is this week’s SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
Mickelson won the PGA Championship by two strokes over Brooks Koepka and Louis Oosthuizen this weekend at Kiawah Island, South Carolina.
Mickelson became the oldest major champion in golf history at the age of 50, and won his sixth career major.
The lefty snaps his eight-year long drought without winning a major, and also becomes the first PGA Tour golfer to win in four different decades.
Mickelson will now set his sights on the U.S. Open at Torrey Pines, the only major that he has yet to win.
