As we celebrate SportsCall’s 25th anniversary, we’re taking a look back at the 25 greatest Auburn athletes since 1995!

Coming in at #6 is Jason Campbell:

  • Jason Campbell is one of the Auburn Tigers’ most remembered quarterbacks in the program history. Known most for an undefeated 2004 season with an SEC Championship, Campbell was also named the 2004 SEC Player of the Year and Sugar Bowl MVP
  • Campbell had a different offensive coordinator each of his four years at Auburn, and was even benched after starting games in his freshman season. He put it all together in his senior season by totaling 2,700 yards and 20 touchdowns
  • A big senior season turned into being picked 25th overall by the Washington Redskins in the 2005 NFL Draft. Campbell played with four other teams before retiring in 2015. He now works with the Auburn Sports Network pregame show during the seasons.
