Auburn soccer midfielder Anna Haddock is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
Haddock scored two goals, including the game-winner, in Auburn’s 2-1 upset over #12 BYU Saturday night at the Auburn Soccer Complex.
She scored her first goal by placing the ball perfectly into the bottom right corner of the net, and her game-winning goal was the result of a header into the upper right corner.
This was Auburn’s first win over a top-15 opponent since 2017, and they were able to do it in front of a rowdy crowd.
The sophomore already has three goals through two matches thus far, and Auburn soccer is poised to build off of that momentum.
