1978- The film soundtrack to ‘Grease’ began a 13-week run atop the UK album chart. The
soundtrack primarily featured John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John.

1989- Paula Abdul reached the No. 1 spot on the US album chart with ‘Forever Your Girl’. The album spent 64 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200 before reaching the top spot.

2016- The Rolling Stones played the opening night of the Desert Trip festival. Featuring other acts such as Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, and The Who, the festival raked in over $160 million making it the highest earning music festival of all time.
