2015 – Adele went to No. 1 on the US singles chart with “Hello”. The lead track from her third studio album ‘25’ became the first song to sell more than one million copies in a single week.

1999 – Foo Fighters released their third studio album ‘There Is Nothing Left to Lose’. The album marked the first appearance of Taylor Hawkins.

1974 – George Harrison became the first Beatle to take on a solo world tour when he made his first stop on the 30-night tour in Vancouver, Canada.
