New Streak

Not a lot of time has passed since Auburn lost its best-in-the-nation home winning streak to Texas A&M. They’ve played three games, losing two, and are in a moment of flux. We’re into the toughest stretch of the season now, and going .500 would feel like something of an accomplishment.

A&M is the same team they were. 16-7 overall, top four in the conference. A very good defensive team with guards who can score. The type of team that has given Auburn a ton of trouble. The fact is, this game is more about Auburn than A&M. Auburn has to play well. If they can, they have a good shot in this one.

Players to Watch For:

Guard Tyrese Radford, #23- Only doing one this week. I said in my last preview I wrote that, while Radford only averaged about 12 or 13, he had the ability to pop off for 30, and that’s exactly what he did. Good offensive guards give Auburn trouble, and Radford is that.  If he goes off for 30 again, Auburn doesn’t stand much of a chance. You need a much better game from everyone defensively.
