Auburn guard Denver Jones is SportsCall’s Player of the Week!
The transfer out of FIU is coming on strong for Auburn as Tournament season begins, and he posted two impressive performances last week.
On Tuesday against Missouri, Jones scored 10 points and added four assists as the Tigers routed Mizzou in Columbia 101-74.
On Saturday in the season finale against Georgia, Jones went 7-9 from the field with all shots coming from behind the three-point line, scoring a season-high 21 points as Auburn beat the Bulldogs 92-78.
With the two wins, Auburn locked up the number 4 seed in the SEC Tournament, securing a double-bye.
