This Day in Music History (October 10)

1970- Black Sabbath were at No. 1 on the UK album chart with their second release, ‘Paranoid.’ The album contains some of the group’s most well-known work including “Iron Man” and “War Pigs” and is regarded as one of the classic Heavy Metal albums.

2000- Britney Spears appeared live in the UK for the first time, playing the first night of three sold out shows at London’s Wembley Arena.

2014- Taylor Swift was named Billboard’s Woman of the Year 2014, making her the first artist to receive the award twice.
