In celebration of SportsCall’s 25th anniversary, we’re taking a look back at the greatest Auburn football wins since 1995!

Coming in at #8 is Auburn’s 2010 win over LSU:

  • A pair of undefeated rivals ranked in the Top-10 took to the Plains in late October. Auburn’s high- powered offense led by Cam Newton would meet up with LSU and its strong defense
  • Many consider Newton’s long 49-yard touchdown run in the third quarter to be his defining moment and the play that ultimately highlighted his run to the Heisman Trophy. However, LSU would still tie at 17 at the beginning of the fourth quarter
  • It wasn’t until Onterio McCalebb would rush around the left end and down the home sideline for 70 yards with five minutes to go that Auburn would take the lead for good. The Tigers of orange and blue would win 24-17 and move to 8-0
