1979- Fleetwood Mac released their 12th album, ‘Tusk.’ It was an experimental set of songs that peaked at No. 4 on the US album chart and had two singles chart in the top 10: the title track “Tusk,” and “Sara.”

1999- The Bee Gees were honored on their island of birth, The Isle of Man, with six
commemorative stamps. Their mother had run a local post office on the island.

2008- Oasis went to No. 1 on the UK album chart with ‘Dig Out Your Soul,’ the band’s seventh and final studio album.
