As we celebrate SportsCall’s 25th anniversary, we’re taking a look back at the 25 greatest Auburn football wins over the past 25 years.
Coming in at #14 is Auburn’s 2004 victory over Tennessee:
- Two undefeated SEC teams entered Knoxville, but only the Auburn Tigers would leave without a blemish in dominating fashion
- The strong Auburn defense held the Vols to 10 points and forced six turnovers to overwhelm the Volunteers. The duo of Ronnie Brown and Cadillac Williams rushed for 152 yards and two touchdowns
- October 2 would be the first matchup between Auburn and Tennessee; the Tigers would meet the Vols in Atlanta at the end of the year where they would win again to claim the SEC Championship
